Body of a Woman Found in Empty Water Pipe in Lori Province
On December 4, a mysterious incident occurred in Lori Province. Around 16:30, the Tumanyan police department received a report that there was a woman's body in an empty water pipe adjacent to 5th Street in Dsegh village.
According to Shamshyan.com, police and investigators established that the deceased was 43-year-old Anahit Tumanyan, a resident of the same village. Forensic experts, upon examining the body, reported that, according to preliminary information, there were scattered abrasions found from the upper surface to the lower left portion of the chest, along with blood-like traces from her nose and left ear.
During the inspection of the crime scene, traces characteristic of a hit-and-run and damaged fragments of a vehicle were discovered. The police and the investigative department are undertaking necessary operational-investigative and joint actions to determine the circumstances of the hit-and-run, and to identify the driver and the vehicle involved.
