Better to Ask Aliyev. Parents of Soldiers Are Desperate
The parents of missing soldiers are protesting in front of the military unit in Ejmiatsin. The relatives of those present have gone missing in the Zangelan region. A military personnel just mentioned that there is information that search operations will be conducted in Zangelan today or tomorrow, but until then, it has been impossible to work.
The father of one of the missing soldiers said that they had not had any information about their child for 45 days until yesterday when they managed to make contact. “The child's Viber was active, he got in touch with us, but our phone was unreachable. Now wherever we turn, they can’t clarify the issue. What kind of Armenia are we living in? The child has really called, we just couldn’t establish contact. Whom did we give our child for? He came from Russia for this; he arrived on September 27, and now we don't know where to turn to solve the issue. They kept saying they would do something until the snow came. How are these children supposed to survive for 45 days? Our country is not a country; our leadership is working very poorly. They receive a fake salary. It would be better to go and ask Aliyev to let our children go back. 45 to 50 days with no child. We are actually saying where they are, but they don’t go. They lie every day, how long? You’ll have to fit everyone in one room and burn it. I raised my child for 27 years, came from Russia to fight, and this is the response we get? It’s all freeloaders and people eating free money.”
