Jalal Harutyunyan to be discharged from hospital in 2-3 days

The health condition of Jalal Harutyunyan, the former commander of the Defense Army and a hero of Artsakh, is stable, and he is expected to be discharged from the hospital within the next 2-3 days. This was stated by Gevorg Altunyan, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, in an interview with Armenpress.

“Jalal Harutyunyan will be discharged from the hospital in 2-3 days and will continue with outpatient treatment (planned visits),” Altunyan said.

Jalal Harutyunyan was injured at a combat position. He was relieved of his position as the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh on October 27. The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, awarded General-Lieutenant Jalal Harutyunyan with the highest title of “Hero of Artsakh” for his exceptional services rendered in the defense and security of the homeland, as well as for his bravery and personal valor.
