Police Detain Those Chanting 'Nikol the Traitor' with Faces Indicating No Loss of Homeland, Abrahamyan Says
Police officers are detaining people chanting 'Nikol the Traitor' with expressions suggesting they have not lost their homeland at all. This statement was made by Tigran Abrahamyan, the head of the 'Henaket' analytical center and former advisor on security issues to the President of Artsakh.
He specifically noted: 'Officers of the NSS, police, prosecutor's office, and investigative committee, this is not an internal political struggle, nor a fight for seats; this is a struggle of people who have been stripped of their homeland. If you do not recognize this simple truth, let me explain in detail. If you are doing this knowingly, then be aware that you will be held accountable for all of Nikol Pashinyan's crimes in every aspect. And remember that those who deprived us of our homeland, who are responsible for the deaths of our thousands of friends, will never come to terms with this. If you continue to add to their ranks, be prepared to equally bear the responsibility that Nikol Pashinyan will sooner or later have to bear.'
We remind you that citizens are marching demanding Pashinyan's resignation, and the police have forcefully detained many of them.
