No Crime Will Go Unpunished. Iran is Determined to Expose the Assailant of the Scientist

No crime, no murder, no foolish act directed against the Iranian people will go unpunished: said Iran's Minister of Defense Amir Khatami, as reported by Irna.

"We will definitely be persistent in this matter until the end. The perpetrators must know that they will be punished for their actions," he stated during the farewell ceremony for the nuclear physics scientist who was killed in Tehran.

"The enemy knows well, and I, as a military man, tell him that no murder, no crime will go unanswered," he emphasized.

Khatami pointed out that the aim of the murder was to disrupt the unity of the public, but those behind this attack did not achieve that goal.

General Khatami announced that the budget of the Ministry of Defense's research and innovation organization would be doubled next year.
