Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Visits Wounded Soldiers

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Mesrop Arakelyan, visited soldiers wounded during the defense of Artsakh on November 30, to assess their health condition and to learn about the effectiveness of the expedited new process for granting disability status. He listened to opinions and proposals aimed at making this process even simpler and faster for the soldiers.

Mesrop Arakelyan emphasized the importance of the uninterrupted implementation of the disability determination process for soldiers, stating that everything possible is being done to organize it in a simpler manner. In particular, for the past few days, ministry staff have personally visited wounded servicemen at their homes and in hospitals to assess their needs and provide disability status as necessary.

During his tours of the Central Clinical Military Hospital and the Homeland Defender Rehabilitation Center, the minister met with soldiers undergoing treatment, learned about their recovery process, and expressed gratitude for their selfless service to the homeland.

During the visit, the minister also familiarized himself with the conditions at the Homeland Defender Rehabilitation Center, discussing key issues related to the rehabilitation efforts for soldiers with the rector of Yerevan State Medical University, Armen Muradyan, including options for the swift and full integration of disabled soldiers into society, future actions, and outlining the course of action.
