Iran Appeals to UN to Condemn Assassination of Iranian Nuclear Scientist
WRed
The permanent representative of Iran to international organizations, Ghasem Gharib Abadi, has delivered an official letter to the UN, calling for the condemnation of the assassination of physicist-nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh. This was reported by the TASS agency, citing the Iranian government's press service.
The letter also points out that there is 'irrefutable evidence' of Israel's involvement in this terrorist act.
It is worth recalling that the scientist, who headed the research and innovation center under the Iranian Ministry of Defense, was killed on November 27. He was injured during an attack and later died in the hospital.
