French National Assembly to Discuss Resolution on Protection of Armenian People and Recognition of Artsakh

On December 3, the French National Assembly will discuss the proposal for Resolution No. 3538. According to the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations in France, the resolution pertains to the protection of the Armenian people and the Christian communities of Europe and the East.

It "reaffirms the necessity to reach a final settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which will ensure the sustainable security of the affected population and will implement the recognition of Artsakh and guarantee a peaceful process." The Azerbaijani embassy is making determined efforts to prevent the adoption of this resolution.

The Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations is calling for counter-actions, urging deputies to vote in favor of the resolution.
