Anna Hakobyan Meets with Mothers of Captured and Missing Soldiers from the Artsakh War

On November 30, at the Government's summer residence, a meeting was held initiated by Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia and chairwoman of the 'My Step' charitable foundation, with mothers of soldiers who were captured or went missing during the Artsakh war.

Mrs. Hakobyan expressed her solidarity with the Armenian mothers: 'Both I and our family share and carry your experiences and pain. Everything that is possible and impossible is being done at the highest level to find a way out of the situation and to bring our boys back home.'

During the meeting, the mothers shared their information, concerns, and grievances with the Prime Minister’s wife. Mrs. Hakobyan informed the mothers that she would try to address their raised issues to the relevant authorities within her powers and capabilities.

It also became evident during the conversation that there is a need to provide psychological support to the younger members of the families. Therefore, the officials responsible for social issues at the 'My Step' foundation will conduct a needs assessment and organize meetings with specialists for children, as well as adults.

The psychological support will be organized in collaboration with the Armenian Red Cross Society.
