The Son of the Author of the Famous Lines 'The Summit is Ours, the Boys are Gone' has Died, Reports the Mayor of Echmiadzin

The Mayor of Echmiadzin, Diana Gasparyan, wrote on her Facebook page: "Unfortunately, the brave heroes who fell for the defense of the Homeland have been joined by the son of the renowned poet and honorary citizen of Echmiadzin, Khachik Manukyan, Vachagan Manukyan. In fact, years ago, the father also dedicated these lines to his son: 'The summit is ours, the boys are gone, the boys remained at a higher place...'.

I deeply mourn and bow my head. I wish strength, resilience, and patience to the family, relatives, and friends."
