Martakert Region's Nor Maragha, Nor Aigestan, Nor Seysulan, Nor Karmiravan, Nor Haykajur, Hvotashen, and Nor Jraberd Settlements Transitioning to Azerbaijani Control

The settlements of Nor Maragha, Nor Aigestan, Nor Seysulan, Nor Karmiravan, Nor Haykajur, Hvotashen, and Nor Jraberd in the Martakert region are now transitioning under Azerbaijani control, in accordance with the provisions of the tripartite agreement reached between the Prime Minister of Armenia, and the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan to cease hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The announcement stated that the Aghdam district is to be returned to the Republic of Azerbaijan by November 20, 2020.

In these days, state intervention measures are being undertaken to facilitate the relocation of the properties of over 2000 residents from the mentioned villages, as well as to provide temporary housing and other necessary measures. This was reported in a statement released by the Information Headquarters of Artsakh.
