US Calls on Russia to Clarify Turkey's Role in Nagorno-Karabakh Agreement

The United States and France are awaiting details regarding Turkey's role in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution. According to Armenpress, this announcement was made by a senior official from the US State Department following talks between Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian.

“They (Pompeo and Le Drian) spoke in detail about Nagorno-Karabakh. As co-chairs, they shared a common view that we remain committed to the role of co-chairs in the Minsk Group process... acknowledging the actions undertaken by Russia that led to the cessation of hostilities, which have genuinely been maintained during the week. But we also recognize that there are many questions that the Russian side needs to clarify, such as the parameters of the agreement, including Turkey's role,” said the State Department representative.
