Mobile and Internet Connectivity Fully Restored in Artsakh

Following the war, significant efforts are underway to restore infrastructure in Artsakh. In an interview with Armenpress, Hunan Tadevosyan, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the State Emergency Service of Artsakh, stated that connectivity has been fully restored.

“Recently, there were issues with both mobile and internet connectivity in Artsakh. During the war, the stations of 'Karabakh Telecom' were targeted multiple times. Recovery efforts are now in their final stages. Today, we can say that there are no connectivity issues in Artsakh,” said Hunan Tadevosyan.

During the conflict, the supply lines for water, electricity, and gas were also targeted. In this short period, significant progress has been made in restoration efforts. The restoration of electricity and water supply infrastructure has been fully completed. There are several neighborhoods in Stepanakert where gas supply issues are still being fully addressed. These efforts are also concurrently being undertaken in the Martuni and Martakert regions.

Hunan Tadevosyan informed that there are also advancements in the restoration of medical facilities. It has already been announced that medical institutions are returning to normal operations.

“A large volume of work is being done in terms of demining and the neutralization of unexploded ordnance. Today, the Russian peacekeepers' emergency response group joined these efforts,” he added.
