We Must Exit the Created Situation Through Political Solutions and Consensus: Kocharyan
Restoring Artsakh will be challenging, as we no longer have the security system that was established around the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast (NKAO). This was stated by Andranik Kocharyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction, during a conversation with reporters at the National Assembly. He added that this does not mean we should not invest our national potential in solving these issues.
Addressing the internal political tensions, Kocharyan emphasized that we must exit the created situation through political solutions—by consensus, which should aim to find a solution through negotiations without the use of force. According to him, the discussions will involve both parliamentary and non-parliamentary forces.
'The current state of security systems poses a threat to Armenia's borders, as the absence of what we previously had has created new dangers for Armenia—both in the north and the south,' he highlighted.
