Traffic to Artsakh Allowed Only via Vardenis-Sotk-Karbachar Highway

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the roads in the territory of Armenia are passable. Traffic to Artsakh is only allowed via the Vardenis-Sotk-Karbachar highway.

In the city of Vardenis, Gegharkunik Province, there is mixed rain. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, due to the state of emergency, the Stepanistsminda-Larsi highway is open only for freight transport.

According to the information from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the decision to prohibit foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transport.
