I Have Spoken with Putin 5-6 Times, Says Pashinyan on Margarita Simonyan's Question

During a press conference today, Nikol Pashinyan responded to Margarita Simonyan's question about whether it is true that he consulted with U.S. representatives for a long time before accepting a Russian proposal. “That is not true. During this period, I have had 5 conversations with U.S. representatives in one month: three times with U.S. National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien and twice with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. During that time, we discussed not Russian, but American proposals, with the exception of the first conversation with O’Brien when the U.S. initiated a ceasefire proposal. Russian proposals were not discussed with the American side. Meanwhile, I have been in constant contact with the President of Russia; there were days when we spoke 5-6 times,” he said. Pashinyan called the claims that he consulted with U.S. representatives regarding the Russian proposal absurd.
