I Have Decided to Resign from the City Council: I No Longer Have the Strength, Energy, or Desire to Engage with Yerevan's Buildings, Says My Step Member Arsen Karapetyan

Arsen Karapetyan, a member of the "My Step" faction in Yerevan's City Council, wrote on his Facebook page: "Since many have been asking, I want to say this in one place to avoid responding to everyone individually. Today I returned, completely unharmed physically, and I thank you for your concern.

"I have decided to resign from the City Council. I no longer have the strength, energy, or desire to deal with Yerevan's buildings; I will dedicate my free time to my family. I apologize if I haven't met expectations.

"Above all, I feel ashamed for the inhuman burden we have placed on our 18-20 year old soldiers; I have no words left, I wrote and deleted everything."
