Gagik Tsarukyan Invited to Parliament: 'My Step' Initiates Motion to Strip Him of Mandate
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Lena Nazaryan, sent a letter today, November 16, to Gagik Tsarukyan, the head of the 'Prosperous Armenia' faction, requesting his presence at the council meeting scheduled for 16:00. The agenda includes a question regarding filing a motion with the Constitutional Court to revoke Tsarukyan's parliamentary powers.
MP Naira Zohrabyan from the Prosperous Armenia faction published the letter on her Facebook page and made the following statement: 'The one who brought Artsakh to its knees before the Turk continues his political repression with his last convulsions. Just a moment ago, the faction received a letter indicating that the one who surrendered Shushi wants to strip Gagik Tsarukyan of his parliamentary mandate as well. And since there is a nationwide rally in two hours, according to the genre’s rules, Tsarukyan is once again invited to the National Security Service before the rally.'
