Ceasefire Maintained Along the Entire Contact Line, Says Igor Konashenkov

The ceasefire regime is being maintained along the entire contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh, stated the representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov.

"The deployment of Russia's peacekeeping forces' observation posts, which continuously monitor the situation, has been completed in the areas where the peacekeeping operation is carried out along the contact line of the parties," he said.

According to him, control is exercised by the peacekeeping forces at nine observation posts located in the southern zone and another nine in the north. There are also seven temporary observation posts in the Lachin corridor that ensure the passage of military convoys of the peacekeeping units.

"The ceasefire is being maintained along the entire contact line," Konashenkov emphasized.
