BHK Appeals to Law Enforcement Agencies to Isolate Nikol Pashinyan and Restore Constitutional Order in the Country

The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) has issued a statement in which it addresses Armenian National Security Service Director Armen Abazyan, Police Chief Vahe Ghazaryan, Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan, Special Investigative Service Head Sasun Khachatryan, and Chairman of the Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan.

“The Prosperous Armenia Party appeals to you to take legal steps regarding the following Facebook post by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Let us remind you that he wrote the following the day before: ‘I watched dozens of videos of frontline soldiers today. I am amazed by the depth of these guys. Boys, you are right. I’m waiting for you in Yerevan. We will definitively address the issues of those squealing behind the walls. I am proud of you.’

This post seemingly contains all the grounds for initiating a criminal case under Articles 222 and 226.2 of the RA Criminal Code. The person holding the office of Prime Minister is no longer a threat to Armenia’s national security and society. Every day he remains in that office endangers the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia. We urge you to take legal steps as soon as possible to isolate Nikol Pashinyan by law and restore constitutional order in the country,” the statement reads.
