Armenian PM: Every Person Transferred from Artsakh to Armenia Will Receive 68,000 Drams

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on his Facebook page, "Dear Artsakh residents, I recently instructed the government to present a program aimed at addressing the social issues faced by our compatriots transferred from the Republic of Artsakh to Armenia. Accordingly, the government’s decision today stipulates that a one-time financial assistance of 68,000 drams will be provided to individuals displaced due to the war who are currently residing in the Republic of Armenia and are registered in Artsakh.

Every individual transferred from Artsakh to the Republic of Armenia will receive financial support amounting to 68,000 drams. Support will also be provided to children if at least one parent is considered a beneficiary of this program. If the citizen does not own real estate in the Republic of Armenia, an additional support of 15,000 drams will be provided. Assistance will also be made available even if the citizen has already returned to Artsakh.

Applications for assistance will be accepted starting from November 23, and it will also be possible to submit applications electronically. In the coming days, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia will present the procedure for providing assistance and further details.

Dear Artsakh residents, I assure you that the Armenian government, together with the Government of the Republic of Artsakh, will do everything possible to ensure your future safety, to revive Artsakh, and to place it on a path of recovery, progress, and new hope. Social support programs will continue in Artsakh," wrote the Armenian Prime Minister.
