Archbishop Parghev Leaves for the USA for Medical Treatment
The leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the Artsakh Diocese, Archbishop Parghev Martirosyan, is traveling to the USA for additional examinations and possible medical treatment. This was reported to Aysor.am by the Archbishop himself.
"I am currently in Yerevan. Over the past two or three days, I have undergone heart examinations in three different hospitals, and I was just at the polyclinic. It is possible that not the major, but rather the small veins are blocked, resulting in insufficient blood supply," he said.
"Tomorrow or the day after, I will be admitted to the hospital there. They will check my vessels to determine their condition," the head of the Artsakh Diocese noted, indicating that he feels better at the moment.
Earlier, it was reported that Archbishop Parghev suffered a heart attack. He is currently in Yerevan.
