Georgia's Entry Ban Remains in Effect

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that roadways in the territory of Armenia are passable.

Regarding Lars: According to information received from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, due to the state of emergency, the Stepantsminda-Lars roadway is open only for freight vehicles.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the ban on foreign nationals entering Georgia remains in effect. The restriction does not apply to freight transportation.
