Three Individuals Arrested for Theft from Government Residence of Prime Minister Armenia: NSS
The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has reported that as a result of ongoing operational investigative measures, it was discovered that during the events of November 10, participants in mass disturbances illegally entered the official residence allocated to the Prime Minister located at 74 Dzorapi Street, Yerevan. From this residence, they stole a computer, a watch, perfume, and other items, as well as important documents including a driver's license and military booklet.
According to the NSS, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 225, parts 1, 2, and 4, Article 301, part 1 of Article 301.1, part 1.1 of Article 176, and part 1 of Article 324 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. During the pre-trial investigation, three individuals involved in the mass disturbances were identified, who committed the aforementioned thefts from the Prime Minister's official residence.
These individuals were detained by national security authorities on November 11, 2020, and personal searches of two of them revealed the stolen items, while the items stolen by the third individual had been recovered during investigative actions conducted in the course of the pre-trial investigation.
All three individuals have been arrested within the framework of the criminal case being investigated by the NSS and have confessed to their crimes. The investigation of the criminal case continues.
