At this stage, the Nagorno-Karabakh issue has no diplomatic solution: Nikol Pashinyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, spoke about the current situation and future actions during a live Facebook broadcast. He announced that the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, starting from this stage and for quite a long time, essentially has no diplomatic solution.
“We have repeatedly stated our willingness to resolve the issue through compromise. Compromise means that we can reduce some of our national benchmarks for the sake of a solution, provided that the opposing side also reduces some of their maximum benchmarks. However, practice has shown that what is acceptable for the Armenian side within this logic is no longer acceptable for Azerbaijan,” said the Prime Minister, emphasizing that what we agree upon or would agree upon in negotiations, due to various factors, Azerbaijan already does not agree with. This means that speaking about any diplomatic solution at this stage is at least pointless.
