French City Council of Vienne Unanimously Adopts Resolution Recognizing Artsakh
The City Council of Vienne, France has unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing the Republic of Artsakh. According to Vienne's Deputy Mayor Levon Sakunts, the council has also called upon the French government to officially recognize Artsakh.
“The City Council of Vienne has unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing the Republic of Artsakh. Following a description of the war situation and the establishment of a connection between Hadrut and Vienne since 2014, the City Council once again expresses support for the peaceful population affected by this conflict and appeals to the French government to recognize the Republic of Artsakh. During the council meeting, it was also decided to allocate 5,000 euros in financial assistance to the displaced residents due to the war,” Sakunts wrote on his Facebook page.
