Iran's Report of Downing Armenian Drone is an Azerbaijani Provocation

The Information Verification Center has reported that the information disseminated by Azerbaijani media today claiming that Iran has destroyed an Armenian drone that crossed the Armenian-Iranian border is false. No evidence supporting this information was presented in the publication.

In response to this issue, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has denied the circulated information. The news regarding Iran downing an Armenian drone is disinformation aimed at shifting the responsibility for violating the airspace of the Islamic Republic of Iran onto Armenia and driving a wedge between Armenian-Iranian relations.
