Accusations Are Baseless and Absurd: Samvel Karapetyan Responds to Aliyev's Arms Supply Claims

The founder of the Tashir group of companies and the president of the Association of Armenian Entrepreneurs in Russia, Samvel Karapetyan, has described the accusations made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, claiming that he supplied weapons to Nagorno-Karabakh, as "baseless and absurd." Karapetyan recalled that he has always called for peace in the region, as reported by armeniasputnik.am.

"The accusations of the Azerbaijani president are fundamentally baseless and absurd; it is absolute fake news. It is extremely concerning that such statements are made at such a high level. It is no secret to anyone that I have always called for peace in Nagorno-Karabakh, both in words and in deeds," said the businessman.

Karapetyan also noted that he is one of those who have built social infrastructure in the region. "By the way, we are the ones who constructed the hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and churches that are currently being bombed by the Azerbaijani army, showing no mercy even to peaceful residents. I want to reiterate my position: this issue can only be resolved peacefully and with the mediation of Russia," Karapetyan emphasized, adding that he will continue to support Armenia.

"I would also like to emphasize that I have always supported and will continue to support the Armenian people, and I intend to carry out exclusively humanitarian and social projects in the region in the future," concluded the businessman.
