We Welcome Secretary Pompeo's Statements, Armenian Ambassador in the US

We welcome the comments made by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo yesterday and today, in which he emphasizes the threats arising from Turkey's support for Azerbaijan in the war against Artsakh, acknowledging that Armenians are defending themselves against Azerbaijan. This was stated by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Armenia to the United States, Varuzhan Nersesyan, on his Facebook page.

“In addition, it is necessary to address the issue directly, and it is essential that the violence cease immediately, and a safe and conducive environment be created for the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs,” the ambassador wrote.
