An independent journalist covering the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Patrick Lankaster, spoke with Reporterfy Media about the effects of Azerbaijani aggression in Stepanakert and surrounding areas.
Lankaster briefly outlined the history of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, emphasizing that Armenians have inhabited the region for centuries, as evidenced by 700-year-old churches with Armenian inscriptions. Consequently, Armenians are now striving to protect their dwellings from attacks.
He also noted that after the ceasefire, there is relative calm in the city, despite occasional shelling. Later, the Reporterfy Media host showcased one of Lankaster’s videos depicting shelling in Stepanakert.
