Azerbaijani Assault on Hadrut City Repelled by Our Brave Soldiers Today: President of Artsakh

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has shared a video on his Facebook page, stating: “With our brave soldiers who repelled the Azerbaijani assault on Hadrut city today.” The Artsakh Defense Army released a statement indicating that prior to the establishment of a humanitarian ceasefire, the Azerbaijani side attempted a diversionary reconnaissance incursion toward Hadrut.

“Although a few hours have passed since the ceasefire was established, operations to encircle and eliminate the infiltrating group continue. The situation remains relatively calm in other areas of the front line. The actions of the Azerbaijani side appear to be motivated by the need to prove the President of Azerbaijan's statement made the day before about capturing Hadrut,” the statement from the Defense Army mentioned.
