According to Vitaly Mangasaryan, 'Our army has destroyed 40% of enemy military equipment'

- Although the war has not ended, if we classify the tactical and strategic techniques employed by the enemy, what picture do we get?

- The enemy set itself a primary task: to attack with large forces and breach the defensive line, achieving both positional and tactical advancements. According to their tactical plan, the breach should have occurred on the 3rd or 4th day, but our armed forces were able to withstand the enemy's powerful strikes and do everything possible to prevent that from happening.

Regarding the weapons used, the opponent has officially stated at various levels that they have used 100% of their arsenal, which includes weapons acquired from Israel, Belarus, Russia, and Turkey. In short, Azerbaijan is fighting with everything available—from mercenaries to drones and long-range missiles.

- Are you also convinced that the Turkish signature has been noticeable since the very first day of the war?

- This war is an action refined over months, even years, and the Turkish trace, mixed with NATO style and tools, has been visible since the beginning—from September 27. Analyzing the sequence and logic of actions and events, it seems at first glance that they have developed a 'brilliant operation', but placing various facts side by side, it clearly outlines how both Turkey and its junior brother Azerbaijan have overestimated their capabilities.

- Everyone says that this war, unlike that of the 1990s and April 2016, is much more extensive. What scales and comparisons are we talking about?

- The difference is, of course, very significant. Drones were used for the first time during the April events, but now we see how intensely they are trying to 'invade' Artsakh. Unlike the current war, there were no mercenaries involved from Syria or other places during the April events. In 2016, the enemy's striking force did not reach such scales; at this moment, we have neutralized about 500 tanks and armored vehicles, including 'TOS' and 'Smerch' systems. According to rough calculations, our army has been able to destroy 40% of the enemy's military equipment. The accuracy of these figures is also supported by the rhetoric of the Azerbaijani political-military elite. Just two weeks ago, our 'neighbors' boasting hard-line rhetoric have now turned to a softer vocabulary, which is, first and foremost, a result of the accurate and competent work of our army and armed forces.
