Saudi Prince Calls for Boycott of Turkish Goods Import
Middle East Monitor reports that Saudi Arabia's Prince Abdulrahman bin Musaad has called for a boycott on the import of Turkish goods into the Arab world's largest monarchy. The reason for this is that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that the Turkish army contributes to stabilizing the situation in Gulf countries in Qatar.
“I urge everyone to completely boycott Turkish products in order to stabilize and strengthen Turkey's economic situation,” the Saudi prince remarked sarcastically.
The head of the Saudi Chambers of Commerce, Ajlan Al Ajlan, also made a post about the issue on his Twitter microblog. “Boycott everything Turkish—imports, exports, investments, and tourism. This is now the duty of every Saudi businessman and consumer,” he wrote.
