Armenian Powerlifter and Multiple Champion Tatul Harutyunyan Heroically Killed at the Artsakh Front
At the age of 33, Armenian powerlifter and multiple champion Tatul Harutyunyan has heroically died at the Artsakh front. This was reported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
Tatul Harutyunyan was born in 1987 in Stepanakert. He was a member of the Armenian national powerlifting team and a multiple champion of Armenia. He also won two European Championships and secured a silver medal at the World Championship.
The Ministry expresses its condolences to Tatul Harutyunyan’s relatives, friends, and teammates. “The memory of this heroic athlete will forever remain in our hearts,” says the statement released by the Ministry.
