F-1 Type Grenade Discovered and Handed Over to Police
On October 3, at 12:29 PM, the Crisis Management National Center received a call reporting that a grenade-like object had been discovered during renovation works in one of the apartments on Freedom Avenue, Building 6 in Yerevan.
A team from the Emergency Situations Ministry's fire and rescue squad in Yerevan was dispatched to the scene, along with specialized rescue operations units and engineering reconnaissance teams from the Civil Protection Department.
The rescuers maintained a watch until the engineering reconnaissance teams arrived. The engineering group identified one old F-1 type grenade and handed it over to the police officers.
