Three Civilians Killed in Martakert Due to Azerbaijani Actions
As a result of the actions unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh, three civilians have been killed in Martakert. The information was confirmed in an interview with Vahram Poghosyan, the press secretary of the President of Artsakh, by Armepress.
On September 29, a 9-year-old child was also killed as a result of Azerbaijan's actions in Martakert. Starting from early morning on September 27, Azerbaijan began active shelling along the entire line of contact with Artsakh. Civilian settlements, including the capital Stepanakert, are also being targeted. In total, seven civilians have been killed in Artsakh due to Azerbaijan's attacks.
Azerbaijan's Armed Forces have also targeted military and civilian infrastructure in Armenia, resulting in the death of one civilian in the Vardenis region and the burning of a civilian bus due to an attack by an Azerbaijani drone.
The Armenian Armed Forces have reported 80 casualties and around 120 injuries of varying degrees of severity. A state of martial law and general mobilization has been declared in Armenia and Artsakh.
According to verified information concerning the actions unleashed by Azerbaijan in the direction of Artsakh, the Azerbaijani side has suffered more than 790 casualties and 1,900 injuries. The enemy has lost 75 drones, 7 helicopters, 137 tanks and armored vehicles, 1 aircraft, 82 vehicles, 3 heavy engineering vehicles, and 4 armored personnel carriers. A significant number of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment have been destroyed, including the “TOS-1A” heavy multiple rocket launcher system.
