Why the ‘My Step’ MP Resigned Their Mandate: Details

MP Armen Pambukhchyan, who resigned his mandate, wrote on his Facebook page: Dear compatriots, today I have submitted a request to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, to cease my activities in the legislative body; I am resigning my parliamentary mandate. I want to state that I will continue my public service in the executive branch, with my own desire and the agreement of my political team.

For effective cooperation, I would like to thank all my colleagues in the 7th convocation of the National Assembly. Naturally, I express special gratitude to the ‘My Step’ faction for substantive discussions and decisions aimed at implementing common goals.

I assure you that the faction has been and will continue to be a strong institution that embodies the values of the revolution, serving the interests of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia and our statehood. Special thanks to all those citizens with whom I have collaborated during this time. I apologize to those citizens who reached out to me regarding issues whose resolutions I could not fully complete.

Thank you!
