Video: Three Judges Sworn into the Constitutional Court
The session of the National Assembly commenced today with a swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed judges of the Constitutional Court. The candidate nominated by the President and elected by the Assembly, Arthur Vagharsyan, expressed his gratitude to the President for putting forward his candidacy and to the Assembly for granting their vote of confidence before taking the oath.
The three judges of the Constitutional Court vowed to remain loyal to the esteemed position of a Constitutional Court judge and to ensure the supremacy of the constitution while acting independently.
It is worth noting that on September 16, the 'My Step' faction elected three judges to the Constitutional Court: Arthur Vagharsyan, Edgar Shatiryan, and Ervand Khundkaryan.
