No $250,000 Spent on Prime Minister's Official Aircraft Markings; The Information Circulating is False

Information has been circulating in the media that the Armenian government allocated approximately €210,000 (around $250,000) for the marking of national and registration numbers on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s official government aircraft, an Airbus A319, last month.

The new appearance of the official aircraft has sparked discussions, especially within the Armenian domain of Facebook. However, this information does not correspond to reality.

This was announced by the Information Verification Center. According to the center, officials indicated that the media publication in question is entirely misinformation.

The details regarding the procurement process of the aircraft serving the Prime Minister are considered state, service, and commercial secrets and are regulated by the Republic of Armenia's Law on State and Service Secrets,” the Information Verification Center stated.
