If it reaches the peak, I will resign. This statement was made today, September 17, by Ararat Region Governor Garik Sargsyan during a conversation with journalists ahead of a meeting of the ruling party.

“If it reaches the peak, then I will also resign; no one is insured,” he said in response to a journalist's observation that he often finds himself at the center of criticism.

When asked if he is following the 'crossfire' between Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, he replied, “Very attentively.”

Commenting on Gagik Tsarukyan's post that individuals with low intellectual capabilities should not hold high positions, and whether there are such individuals in their party, the governor simply stated, “I do not comment.”
