Armen Pambukhchyan Submits Resignation as Member of Parliament
According to the official website of the National Assembly, on September 17, Member of Parliament Armen Pambukhchyan submitted his resignation in accordance with the first part of Article 155 of the constitutional law 'Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly.'
As per the second part of the same article, if the MP withdraws his resignation in writing within a week after the announcement, the President of the National Assembly will make a statement regarding this. If there is no withdrawal, a record will be drawn up regarding the termination of his powers, which will be signed and published by the President of the National Assembly. The resignation is deemed accepted upon the publication of the record.
