Traders Met with Babken Tunyan at the National Assembly. They Will Receive Answers on Their Issues Tomorrow
Traders dissatisfied with the new customs regulations met recently with Babken Tunyan, the chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Affairs Committee and a member of the "My Step" faction. In a conversation with journalists, they stated that Tunyan would provide them with answers regarding their concerns tomorrow. "Tunyan said he would connect with the State Revenue Committee, but he did not guarantee that everything would be 100 percent in our favor. Tomorrow we will have an answer," they said.
It is important to note that traders are expressing dissatisfaction with the new customs regulations and are demanding that the previous regulations remain in place. They stated that as a result of the new regulations, the cost of goods clearance is increasing.
Recall that participants of the protest had previously met with the President of the State Revenue Committee, Edward Hovhannisyan, regarding this issue, but they were still left dissatisfied.
