The Decision to Prohibit Foreigners from Entering Georgia Remains in Effect

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has announced that the roads within the Republic of Armenia are accessible.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Emergencies Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Emergency Situations Ministry of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, due to the state of emergency, the Stepanmtsminda-Lars road is open only for freight transport vehicles.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to prohibit foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transportation.
