Without Education, It's Possible to Buy a 'Yashik Mercedes,' but It's Impossible to Create One, Says Pashinyan to Schoolchildren

Our children are now very critical of everything, and anyone who is critical can respond to this sentence by analyzing it like this: It is possible to buy a 'Yashik' Mercedes without education. Yes, this sentence can exist. This was stated today, on September 15, during the opening ceremony of School No. 153 named after Rafael Ishkhanyan in Yerevan by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, who added that while it is possible to purchase a G-class Mercedes without education, it is impossible to create a G-class Mercedes without education.

“What kind of future do we want to have? Do we want to be just drivers of the G-class Mercedes, or do we want to be its creators and producers? Do we want to be consumers or creators? Yes, it is possible to create some level of material well-being without education, but it is impossible to fly into space without education. I want you to understand that every hour you spend within the walls of the school and every minute you spend in your educational agenda determines how you will live. How your children and families will live. I want you to set goals that are not just about having various shiny, luxurious, and sparkly objects but rather about being happy in your daily work. In this case, I assure you that the rest of the material will be created in such a way that you won't even notice it. I want happiness to be your most important goal. I want giving happiness to be your most important mission. I know that you are just that, and your parents' dreams are just that,” said the Prime Minister.
