There is No Alternative to Peaceful Resolution: Mnatsakanyan's Interview with Spanish EFE Agency

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has released an interview with Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan to the Spanish EFE agency.

“The best option for regional stability would be to reinforce the ceasefire regime established since 1994 with control mechanisms, which would allow for avoiding escalation and identifying the responsible party for violations of the ceasefire. However, Baku has always evaded this. There is no alternative to peaceful resolution. We are fully prepared to continue as soon as possible.

In this regard, Armenia has two priorities: the recognition of the right to self-determination of Nagorno-Karabakh without restrictions and security agreements to prevent the resumption of military actions. While Turkey claims that it wants zero problems with neighbors, in reality, it is a source of instability and aggression for all its neighbors, and there is an attempt to export this policy to the South Caucasus. We cannot remain indifferent to this,” said the Foreign Minister.
