Seizure of Property and 235 Million Drams Associated with Robert Kocharian to Continue
WRed
The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, presided over by Judge Anna Danibekyan, has partially approved the request of former Armenian President Robert Kocharian's lawyers to lift the restrictions on his assets and bank accounts. According to the court ruling, the seizure will continue on the property belonging to R. Kocharian and on the sum of 235 million drams.
It should be noted that this property was provided to Robert Kocharian by the state as part of his post-presidency entitlements, while the funds in the bank accounts originated from the investment company 'Sistema,' where R. Kocharian serves as an independent director, as well as from other legal sources. All supporting documents are included in the case.
