Hrazdan Police Uncover Illegal Logging Incident

On September 12, officers from the Hrazdan Police Department received information that a 50-year-old resident of the Microdistrict neighborhood was engaged in illegal logging, storing the firewood in a garage he rented in their area.

On the same day, the man was taken into custody. In addition to confessing to the act, he revealed eight stumps of oak trees he had cut down in the forest area adjacent to Mehrazdor community over the past two months. Approximately 8 cubic meters of firewood were discovered in his rented garage.

Materials are being prepared for further legal action.
