Georgia's Ban on Entry Remains in Force; Exemption for Freight Transport

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that the roads within the Republic of Armenia are passable. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the crisis management center of Russia's North Ossetia, due to the state of emergency, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open only for freight transport vehicles.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to ban the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transport.
