Armored Vehicles Deployed in Central Minsk to Face Protesters

Police and military units are gathering in central Minsk, where the next wave of protests is anticipated. A column of six armored vehicles has been spotted near the Palace of Independence, reports RIA Novosti.

According to the agency, Belarusian security forces have marshaled significant resources to confront the protesters. Special police units are cordoning off the area with barbed wire.

It is noted that a chain of internal troops and special police units has lined up around the center of Minsk, particularly around Oktyabrskaya Square.
