After the Collision, BMW Continued Forward and Ran Over a Watermelon Vendor; 3 Injured
On September 13, at 19:00, the Regional Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a traffic accident near the village of Eraskh, with casualties present. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A firefighting unit from the Armenian Rescue Service's Ararat Regional Rescue Administration was dispatched to the scene.
It has been revealed that a Mercedes Sprinter vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a watermelon sales point; according to preliminary data, there is one fatality and three injured.
As reported from the scene by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the collision caused the BMW to overturn. Following the collision, the BMW continued forward and struck a watermelon vendor in that area, who died on the spot.
